Notice of the closure of NBP Pakistan Subsidiary Bank in Tajikistan


Dear Customers!

With all respect we regret to inform you that by decision of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Pakistan, a decision has been taken to terminate activities in the Tajikistan in the near future. In this regard, we kindly ask you to close your existing accounts in the Branch until April 15, 2021.

Please note that the Branch closure is associated with its voluntary liquidation, moreover, the financial position is quite stable. The Branch has enough liquidity to fully meet its obligations and settle accounts with all depositors. The above mentioned deadline, until April 15, 2021, is provided so that our customers /depositors have the opportunity to choose another bank to meet their needs and avoid the inconvenience of changing the bank.

 He/She reports to the General Manager of the Bank  and performs a variety of HR functions provided to the Bank.

The incumbent takes active role in providing administrative guidance and advice to Bank’s staff on HR related matters.  Reviewing and evaluating positions for classification; management of the performance evaluation process for local Bank’s staff; preparation of employment contracts and extending of GM/DGM visa, preparation of documents for obtaining Tajikistan visa for any NBP/HO visitors, maintaining accurate and maintaining/updating personal record of all employees.

The candidate must meet the following Evaluation Criteria:

- Completion of a University Degree in the field of Management, administration etc.

-  A minimum of 2 years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources management, with focus in the areas of position classification and training is required. Experience with  an international organization where English language is routinely used in the workplace is a plus.

- With demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR management processes with emphasis on position classification and training. Must be well versed in the local HR management practices including the local labor law. Must have the ability to quickly gain knowledge of NBT/NBP instruction/ circulars and processes on Human Resources management.

- Good analytical ability and sound judgment are needed to evaluate position description, identify training needs and make recommendations on HR related issues and concerns.

-  Good organization skills to be able to work independently and manage work according to priorities. With strong negotiation skills and ability to take quick action to be able to resolve urgent matters.

- Good command of computer skills in Ms Windows, Ms. Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power point).

-This position is open for the local residents of Tajikistan only.
